How can I attach a LED bulb in a solar panel, battery and a switch?
This seems simple enough, but nobody knows how. I to do a lighting system for a boat. I want it to be solar powered. All you need is a way to get a solar panel connected to a battery storage and after a switch to turn it on at night. The boat is wired for battery power and I have yet to find a lighting system simple that I can only make my own lamp. There are so many options if you want for a garden, but for marine applications is oxidized. please help.
I I'm not trying to sound rude. If you leave it that way sorry. You're right, it's simple if you know what you're doing. Your question is answered a long time just shows that most people are here just to talk about solar electric shock. I've noticed that very few people who answer these questions have been even solar power system in real life. I have systems on the ranches in Texas. Power boats home in Washington DC in the home in Arkansas, so this is a configuration very simple for me. But most have no idea. Choose a battery that can handle the power drain and then just get a solar panel the size you need to charge the battery size you have. Then get a charge controller that will handle large enough solar energy will save in it. Amps times the battery will provide 05 amps how many solar panels you need if you chose the right battery have compared the use. Use this number multiplied by 12 volts and will have how many watts in solar panels you need. The charge controller with amps and volts rating. Get a driver load to be able to handle the amps. Using the total amps times 1.25 solar panels to get the minium size controller. Now go to a hardware store and buy some wires large enough to handle the current system and a simple switch and the box to turn on the light inside and outside. You want properly size the fuses for the system. Even if someone was going to say step by step how to do still need to know something about it. Or if you are just shooting in the dark trying to reach the target.
