My Chihuahua got ahold of a decorative (real) gourd…?
My Chi got ahold of a gourd that many people get for fall decorations at the grocery store…the bumpy funny looking ones they sell with the mini pumpkins. It was out of his reach (I thought) but he managed to jump from the back of a couch onto a decorative table then onto the dining room table..go figure. Anyway he gnawed off the top of the gourd. Its hard to tell how much he may or may not have ate. Does anyone know it these have a potential toxin for dogs. He is not showing any signs of stomach problems but it was only a few miniutes ago and I’m keeping a eye on him. Thanks!

There is a certain type of gourd which can be toxic at times–here is a link to the page. I doubt your dog ate enough to make him sick, but check it out.
