Heater Thermostat
how do i check the heater/thermostat in my amana fridge/freezer myself?
1st i took the panels off the back of the freezer and defrosted it with a blow dryer. it worked for a week great! both fridge/freezer. but now its all frozen up again. my ice cream is soup and i dont have the $ to have someone come fix it.
Ohm the heating element. If it’s ok ohm the t-stat but leave a chunk of ice on it to keep it closed. Then move to the defrost timer.
