heating air filter
Where is the air filter located in the central heating system carrier?
I just moved into a house with a Carrier cd5bxa036000aaaa (installed originally in 1996). I'm trying to find where to replace the air filters on it. I looked at the sides and bottom, could not find a place. Any ideas?
Look for a large grid as a thing (sort of looks like the air could pass through it) screwed into one wall (in the Inside the house) should be about 21 "x21". Open the lid (you may need a screwdriver or pliers) should see the filter there. Be careful not to shake or beat around much (which is full of dust ...) Replace with new one the same size. Pay attention to the new address is supposed to is positioned. There must be an arrow (->) printed on the edge.
