electric blanket question?
I've never been able to successfully clean an electric blanket. The one I'm using is very sad and really do not want to buy another $ 100 king blanket. I remember my mom tells me not to sleep over it long ago, but now have heated mattress pads. is not the mechanism electricity from it? I was thinking I could put the blanket flat and then covered with a regular mattress pad. So I guess my question is this: is a heating pad mattresses basically the same as an electric blanket? as it is, a blanket with wires inside. the more i type, the more I feel alone and throw it start again. I was thinking I have put on a duvet cover to begin.
Its an electric blanket, you can not just throw it in the washer. I'm not sure how you clean it by hand with the electrical outlet to keep dry, but with a king sized blanket that would a job and a half! If there is a new one, I suggest you make a cover for it. Two flat sheets stuffed into 3 parts and velcro on the 4th would stay and keep it clean, then you can clean the leaves.
