How can I troubleshoot a handful of insulation being blown into our heating ducts in your home again?
In some isolation mode for the heating of adjustment should be getting in the lines themselves (which carries the heatpump hot air to the rooms of the house). What can I do? I have to remove the duct grill and remove one or two large handfuls of insulation every few days. Where does and how the iFIX problem?
Hello, If loose fill insulation such as fiberglass or cellulose, then the problem could be in the attic. Walk carefully up there or fall into the room below you. If there is not then the location could also be a short distance from where the building is insulated, so you just pipe insulation is broken by the intruder. There must be a wharf rat, roof rat or squirrel holes torn linens or something there, so that carry a stick or a 22 cal. rat pistol shooting. Maybe you can repair the pipe with duct tape and a plastic bag and then wrap it with some additional insulation fiberglass and tape again. Be sure and seal the entry that the bug came through, too. Most likely try to return if they have babies and at this time of year its almost a certainty, there are babies. Moth Granules work, but the balls do not repelling squirrels moth males and females in the nest. Pantyhose great work to put a little tie and hang around in the transit area or in the attic. You can remove them if you stay in pantyhose dispensers later, when a climate brings warmer the smell from inside to outside and creatures. Wharf Rats will be holes in the ground, steel wool pack rat poison and there to stop them. Beware of dogs and cats, poisons kill 3 times when eaten by animals coming. I've done this many times, just keep looking until you find where the entry enemy combatants to fight for their air supply.
