Cost of heating oil tank removal?
We would like to buy a house, but there is a heating oil tank in the basement. We want to convert a gas heater and wonder what it would cost to have the tank removed. This is a 250 liter tank and could have to cut it out.
You should be able to negotiate a settlement with the company that installs your gas system to remove the tank. We charge $ 250.00 if done at the time installation. The key is to find an oil company to remove the existing oil.
