Electric clothes dryer ducts?
A few years ago I installed a diversion box on Exhuast duct dryer vent to be diverted hot air into the room, had a lint sock on it to catch the lint, the basement has no heat and very cold. The man said furnace repair these units still pull lint and block the other component swithched electric furnace, so I removed it. Now the expensive oil is crazy, and I would install one with a better lint sock (filter). Does anyone know where I can find this unit? Thank you.
I have one in The Home Depot for seven dollars. It has a lint collector, as you mentioned, but I have noticed no significant lint pass. Maybe you can redirect your ducts further from the oven. My hair is on the ground and put a t-shirt out of the dryer with one hand to go outside and ventilation of others in a hallway for better movement air. During cold weather, it sure the outside vent is closed and I stop at the end of the box to ensure air passes through the lint filter.
