How can I fix my Whole House humidifier?

Had a new Air Handler with a new heat pack and coil installed a month ago to work with my existing heat pump. The last owners had replaced the heat pump and it didn’t work too well with the air handler. This company has been out a total of 8 times and every time they leave, something still isn’t right. I’m tired of calling them.

Sounds like they have it hooked to the heat sequencer, that’s why it’s only coming on when the heat strips come on. It should be control ed by the low speed (heat speed) on the fan relay, usually the red wire. That way it will run when the heat pump is just running and when the heat strips are running since they both use they same fan speed. It must have been hooked up wrong from start.
