What is the best Hepa Filter?
I have allergies and my allergiest told me to get a hepa filter. He said it didn’t have to be way pricey but, I don’t want a cheap one, I want one that works. I’ve done everything else that he asked so I’d really like to find a good one. Any suggestions on brands? I don’t want an ionic thing so don’t even suggest.
Did the allergist recommend a HEPA general air filter or a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner? Were you specifically diagnosed by the allergist through skin testing to have allergy to dust mites or anything else that may be helped by HEPA? Contrary to what the previous nurse responded, just having an allergy does not necessarily mean you are MCS and I find that kind of suggestion in the absence of further information quite unprofessional.
As for the HEPA filter itself – in and of itself it is not pricey – it is just a special piece of sponge. What you are paying for is the unit/brand that houses it.
