Auger flight is good for snaking out of plastic?
I have the plastic cover (small plastic bottle of bleach, not cover higher, but the liquid that comes out, one white) has got stuck in the drain of my sink. P opened the trap and was trying to put chlorine directly into the drain pipe to push the bottle and suddenly the white plastic mouthpiece it entered the pipe and has clogged the sink. The water doesn't go thorugh pipe now as its been blocked by the plastic cap. The little worryingly, it has dropped further the pipeline as I was trying to take you out with hanger. People have suggested that I use wet / dry Vac auger or try out the snake. Drain auger will take over the plastic and pull it or not? I suggest something like I did my toothbrush in the bath this morning .. I need my sink back to normal and i cannot 100 of scarves plumber at this time of credit crisis also …
If the drain auger can not grab and pull it back, must be able to push the rest of the way, until a larger tube reached. If that fails, the result of a cut on the tip of the auger may be necessary. That's more or less their chances with an auger – pull it, push through of, or grind through it.
