As for the plumbing?
Is there a standard height from the ground to the water lines coming out of the wall of a bathroom sink and WC? I know it's a good idea to run through a piece of 2x4 or 6 before the placement of drywall. I also know about the extension within wall with a cap on the end to absorb shock when the water is off. Strangely no one in the plumbing department. at Lowe's or The Home Depot seems to know the answer to this. Adam D., I had a kind of bag holloween in mind. LOL
hidden air chambers and no longer servicable were banned by the new plumbing code here in Florida. the one you describe will not work finally air chambers or water hammer arresters are required you have an ignition / Off solenoid valve, ie, dishwasher, ice machine, laundry, solenoid operated faucet or toilet.
