A plumber here? Or anyone who knows plumbing? Can you help me? When I connect copper pipe to a joint L or T joint, I have to put an O-ring on the pipe and push all the way to the joint. Then put the nut on the O-ring and screw firmly into the joint. My question is this. Power use a hand crimping tool to hold the O-ring whities to the pipeline so as not to slip and be held tightly to the T and L in the joints? Is there a special hand crimping tool we use to hold the O ring tightly to the pipe? Can anyone help? Thank you very much. I do not see why I can not make this question more than once, especially if I'm just a rookie. Why Why is it that some people are so agitated by this? Why are so "concerned" with what others do?

I'm a plumber's assistant. You are using a compression fitting. Crimp is not spoiling it. They make you feel like doing something shark bite. You just slide then using an ac plastic tool to remove it. There are also adapting professional press. You slide over them then use an electric tool that cost much crimp on. Hope this helps
