What can I use to clean a bathtub after a plumber was here.?
First dumped some stinking drain cleaner in the bathtub, and then another type of drain cleaner finally really a strong smell of drains clean. No they will open the bathtub drain. Thus, the plumber used an auger or snake.and finally opened the tub. However, the tub is now two different colors. The plumber has been cleared almost to the bottom metal, but the sides are orange, drain cleaner. He said he needed a degreaser, can anyone tell me what kind of degreaser to clean buy Orange sideways. And you can buy a small bottle of enamal to replace enamal around the leak, removed by the auger. I also have always understood my dad do not mix cleaning products drained, which could cause dangerous fumes. And anyone can tell me how to get the smell of the house. Thanks
Not sure about the degreaser, but Home Depot does a Resurfacer of the bath, costs about 30.00 and repainting of the tub like new.
