Is it better to recharge the batteries in series or in parallel?
I have 2 6-volt rechargeable flashlight, and 1 6-volt solar panel. Would better to recharge and then in series or in parallel? I asked this 3 times in environmental groups and never received one response, so perhaps one of these "scientifically enlightened" evolutionist can answer. Simply make sure to do the opposite of what they say I have to do well.
You can charge batteries in any series or in parallel - the issue is not only the connection method, but also the tension that may apply. Two 6-volt batteries connected in parallel requires 6-volt battery, since each "sees" the magazine individually. In series, they need 12 volts to charge because the passage of the load current through both batteries before completing the circuit.
