What is the purpose of the green box that can be seen in the UK A-roads and highways?
The green box has a pole with a solar cell in the top and I've noticed especially by A-road junctions and the on / off-ramps on highways. What do they do? Who owns thems? These boxes are not nothing to do with the blue main traffic system. Thank you very much.
