Astronomy Solar System?
What are the two main differences between extrasolar planetary systems discovered to date and our Solar System? The response to the first part is A and C. Being more massive, high density is a selection effect because the more massive planets are easier to detect. Be thick, not really measure, because in most cases is not possible measure the size of the planet, but Jupiter is about a maximum size. Adding more mass to a size limit will be reduced due to gravity. Eccentric is not a selection effect, which is real and it is suggested that the presence of brown dwarfs in some of these systems may have resulted in eccentric orbits. The inclination is not easy to measure. The answer to the second part is C - the observations of the transmitted light during transits have shown all the planets without water so far observed.
