How do I install a Solar Energy System for electricity supply in my house with 5 bedrooms?
The house is located in the tropics. It has 5 bedrooms, kitchen, double garage, a living room, dining room, three (3) bathrooms / toilets, one (1) toilet, and three (3) stores. There are seven (7) Air Conditioning, each with capacity of 1 horse power (1 hp). Other appliances increased consumption of electricity are: Water Heater, stove, microwave, four (4) Hot Water boilers, six (6) TVs, and a fume hood.
First off .. forget every air conditioning ... all of them. Then forget your water heaters. So, forget about all your appliances, including the 'fridge. As a matter of fact, for the size house you have, where is, and I used to, forget all about the PV. If I were you, knowing what little I know about your situation, I probably put a little of solar hot water collectors, and perhaps look for some wind power. But it seems that you are in the network and ... Why would you want solar? If saving money, as they say in the Sopranos ... "fuhgedabboutit!" A grid connected panel or two might give you a warm fuzzy feeling of helping to land or green something .. but the reality is that time of payment is about 20 years that .. and probably never given its location. solar panels become very inefficient when heated .. hot is what you have. Solar hot water will help some, depending on how much you use. Go to homepower.org and educate yourself in reality. For remote locations, makes sense, but if you already have the power of the city there, usually does not. Good luck, and be smart.
