Anyway to disable auto vent fan in whirpool flat top stove?
whenever somethings been cooking too long for 20min or so, the vent fan turns on automatically even if there isnt any smoke. is there any way to permanently shut the vent fan off?
Mine has a manual switch to turn it on manually and turn it off altogether, but I never do. It is a safety feature, it turns on by heat, when it is hot enough to turn on, you need it, whether you see smoke or not.
